Root 66.

Yes, they're back. Gigging hard and rockin' the souls of Hampton Roads to the core. Brandishing two lead guitar players, Mike Fein and John Graebing, with individual and combined efforts that leave crowds in awe. Hank Carroll, Root 66 proprietor and multi faceted lead man had this to say about his two workhorses. "Those guys (Mike and John) can really smoke. We have the talent to do things that other bands don't have the balls to do." Searing dual leads, trade offs and guitar harmonies are what the band's leader is referring to. The band finished the month of October with highly successful shows at Bullies, Sammy's and Boneshakers Saloon respectively. "Having a solid rhythm section and talented individuals with no attitudes really makes it easy to put on great shows." Guitarist John Graebing said of the band's success. The rhythm section John eluded to are thumping bass man Bill Jones and Kip Wall (a.k.a. WALL of sound) on drums. Both are experienced and at times they seem joined at the hip. Let's not forget to mention the band's fearless leader Hank. Bassist Bill Jones said quite matter-of-factly. "Hank is a crowd pleaser." Mr. Carroll effortlessly elicits positive crowd reactions with blistering harp, flute, rhythym guitar and vocals. Describing this band in writing doesn't quite convey the the entertainment value. This classic rock ensemble is a must see! Visit <http://www.root66band.com/>www.root66band.com for show dates and booking.
