Rokkit Band

Rokkit is a 6 member band with 5 vocalists (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and lead singers). Lenny on drums is the former "Fully Vested" drummer. Alan on guitar is the former "All That" and "Slapwater" lead guitarist. Scott on bass is the former bass player for "Fully Vested." Eric on keyboards is the former "Rhythm Magik" keyboardist and Dave Lintz is the former lead singer of "Fully Vested" now Rokkit lead singer and front man.  Last, but not least, Hilary adds a british international flair, great stage presence and awesome vocal work to the group.

We have put together and produced a very high energy dance, classic and modern rock band with professional musicians and entertainers. We also cover classic, standards, country and special request songs.

Scott Amone Ð Bass and Vocals
An energetic and extremely versatile Bass Player, Scott provides a solid driving force for the band.  He has been performing for weddings and numerous club venues for 20 years. He is one of the most entertaining Bassists in the Hampton Roads and provides excellent vocal work for the band.  His musical background is quite diverse as he enjoys the acapelle songs of the 50's with a love for the Rock and Roll music of the 80's. When asked what his motivational drive is? "It's all about putting on a solid show, entertaining the audience and sharing a good time together".

Hilary Bisaillon - Vocals, Guitar, and Keyboards
Hilary is originally from the UK and has been in the US for 8 years. She recently moved to Virginia with her family to avoid the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. She is a Singer/Songwriter with a background of writing and recording in the UK. Since making the US her home she has recorded and rocked with bands in Mississippi and written for a record label in Florida. An energetic and heartfelt performer, she adds an undeniable element to our already diverse group.

Lenny Knox Ð Drums and Percussion
Lenny Knox on his Pearl ELX kit with a combo of Zildjan, Paiste and Sabian cymbals exhibits a strong and hard driving backbeat. This is a hard working drummer!Ê Not the usual laid back blending beats but rather in your face with a hard hitting and chest pounding punch. Main influence comes from big band drummer "Buddy" Rich as you may relate to during one of his drum solos. He also loves those licks of greats like Phil Rudd of AC/DC, Max Weinberg of the "E Street" band and the master himself Neil Peart of Rush. Classically trained, Lenny grew up playing piano and violin before taking up lessons on the snare drum which led to his self taught full kit playing he does now.  Lenny has played in many bands in Maine, the Navy, and locally. His last venture was with the former band "Fully Vested"

Dave Lintz  - Lead Vocals and Percussion
Singing is what this man does best, and Dave can sure belt out the tunes. Whether it be dynamic, climatic rockers, or simple, soulful ballads, he can croon with the best of them! Founding Fully Vested in the spring of 2003, Dave set his sights on finding talented musicians willing to play an entirely different set list that is not usually found in the Hampton Roads area. He wanted the audience to be able to say, "Well, I sure haven't heard that song in a long, long time, and these guys sure can rock with the best of them!". A simple formula, that seems to be catching on in a music scene filled with Southern Rock overkill, and overdone Classic Rock staples. Also, that formula consisted of comparing song lists of local and regional bands, checking out local bands in concert, and asking area concert goers what they wanted to hear. Dave has since moved on and has become the missing piece the Rokkit Band has been looking for. He brings the variety and front man talent that is a perfect fit for Rokkit. He loves to work the crowds and no other front man can match his showmanship.

Eric Shaw Ð Keyboards and Vocals
Eric Shaw, is an experienced stage performer, studio musician, arranger and songwriter.  Before coming to the Hampton Roads area in 2003, he rocked audiences from Florida to British Columbia.  His keyboard influences include Chick Corea, Lyle Mays, Keith Emerson and Rick Wakeman, but these days he enjoys playing a huge range of straight-ahead styles like Chuck Levell and Greg Allman, Bruce Hornsby, Stevie Wonder, Sarah McLachlan, Gavin DeGraw, Jesse Carmichael of Maroon 5...you get the picture.  Similarly versatile on lead vocals, he loves to lay down a tender ballad, but he can also kick out a mean Joe Walsh or Paul Rodgers.  His classical training gives him an ear for harmonies and the tools to take the band's vocal blend to the next level--you gotta hear it! Eric uses gear by Alesis, Korg, Yamaha, Fostex, Fender, Macintosh and Dean Markley

Alan Vance Ð Lead Guitar and Vocals
Alan, a native of the Tidewater area, has performed and played lead guitar for numerous area bands and little theater groups from Mississippi to New York.  Classically trained in symphonic and jazz trumpet, his tasteful guitar licks have graced top area groups including Royal VII, Slapwater, All That!, Fully Vested and many others. His distinctive guitar work has been heard in little theater groups with show credits including "Tommy, the Rock Opera", "Pumpboys and Dinettes", "Hot Grog", and others. Alan's signature pumping rhythm and hot lead guitar work will have the dance floor packed and rock the house! Alan exclusively uses custom Brian Moore guitars and Line 6 gear. This combination allows him to nail guitar work from a variety of musical styles, including top Rock, Blues, Jazz, Funk, and Country artists. Alan's guitar influences include Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and Joe Walsh.ÊAlan lends his unique backup and lead vocal range to the Rokkit Band mix.
