Some of you readers may have had the opportunity to see Pleasure Victim several times this year at the "R Bar" , "Chevys" , "Scandels" and "Smackwater Jacks" to name a few venues. Pleasure Victim was formed in November of 2004. They play a variety of Rock N Roll covering Pat Benetar , Janis Joplin , U2 , Led Zeppelin , Alanis Morrseitt , Lynard Skynard , Hole , No Doubt , Blondie and one of the only bands in Tidewater to cover classic Kiss. They have a great show that includes lots of lights and a few other surprises. They have added a few more venues to their schedule for 2007 including "South Beach Grille" & "Poppas Pub". Heres a little about the band.

John Roth Ð Lead Guitar
He is the founder of Pleasure Victim and has played in several bands in the Tidewater area for the past 20 years. He has played with "Panic" & "Blind Witness" prior to Pleasure Victim. He is a huge Kiss , Alice Cooper & Black Sabbath fan.

Bobby Ratcliff - Bass & Lead Vocals
Bobby has been in the music business for over 30 years. He has played with "Nick and the Razors" , "Push" & "Havoc" he is a multi talented musician and plays Keyboards , Guitar , Bass and was the drummer for Pleasure Victim at one time.

Heather Morgan - Lead Vocals
Heather has been with Pleasure Victim since March 2006 and is originally from Wheeling WV. She sang for Classic rock and country bands before moving here. She sounds like a cross between Stevie Nicks and Janis Joplin.

Mark Dobbins - Drums & Vocals
Mark has been friends with Bobby Ratcliff for over 30 years and played with Bobby in "Push". Mark also played with "Island Boy" and a few other bands in the Tidewater area.

Scott Conrad - Lead guitar
Scott has been friends with John Roth for a few years and played with John in "Panic" & "Blind Witness". Scott was also one of the founding members of a local band called "Nuthaus"
