Greetings Splash readers, Big B here the host of Splash TV. After playing locally as a musician with my band the FSC, and working with countless bands as the owner of Norfolk Entertainment. I have discovered that some of the greatest up and coming artist are not from New York, or California, but right here in VA.
I plan to write this column monthly for Splash Magazine to give you an idea of who the epic local musicians are, and where you can see them perform. I also plan on communicating with you the readers through email, about your favorite local artist, and or hangouts. In addition, I plan on exploring the view of the locals towards their music scene. Think of this column sort of like a Dear Abby, but cool as hell. I want to know what you, the fans, the artist, the locals think about Virginia Entertainment.
Each month the Local Love column will feature a topic. At the end of that column will be the following months topic, to allow you all time to write in with your point of view. The fist actual Local Love column will print in the August issue of Splash Magazine. The topic of which will be "Hot Spots". I am asking you all to write in with you favorite place to see bands, watch the games, hang out. Bands which is you favorite venue to play?
