The vision is far from ordinary. Formed in 2001, Lifted Vision has grown into a successful six piece band. With the band members having known each other since childhood, a unique bond has been formed and is shared by everyone. A lifelong love of music and each individualıs love of their instrument and style, creates a very natural vibe.

Capturing the music of Lifted Vision is easier heard than done. Artists such as Keller Williams, Miles Davis, Grateful Dead, John Lee Hooker, and Bob Marley provide inspiration for this truly extraordinary brand of music. To put it in a few words they have coined the phrase, ³funk, rock, reggae.

With a lineup including: Ben Misterka (classically trained lead guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter), Chris Stone (recognized vocalist, rhythm guitar, and songwriter), James Pardee (classically trained drummer), Matt Weinberg (classically trained alto sax player), Tom Walker (recognized bassist), and Jason Maund (recognized percussionist), a harmonious and uniquely blended sound has been formed.

After playing every open mic night available, Lifted Vision has gained respect and the adaptability to play any venue offered. While keeping each individual show different, a recurring fan base has been formed and continues to grow. With a new three song demo, Lifted Visionıs sound can be heard by any open ear.

Lifted Vision has been offered, and accepted, the chance to play with many of Hampton Road's premier bands including Family Tree, Squija, Duburbia, Syco Kinetix, and Guta. The opportunity to play Family Tree's CD release party was an honor received by every member of the band. Performing at Bubbafest 2003 earned the band a spot on a nationally aired television program.
