Its that season again, NAMM has come and gone and left all the gear heads with a glimpse of what is about to hit the market.
here are our top 3 pics of what looks most interesting from the show.

Korg has released there "Legacy Collection", a bundle of software emulating the MS-20, Polysix, and Wave Station, with an 84% sized replica MS-20 hardware controller. It has a tiny little patch panel that aperently you can use just like a real one. Their new acronymn is CMT. no not country music television, component modeling technolodgy. they have reportedly digitally modeled every transistor, capcitor, ect. from the real thing.

The Moog Moogerfooger MuRF
multiple resonance filter array, said to be an entirely new "effect"
its a slew of resonant band pass filters and a pattern generator to say the least.
It should provide a very promising look into a new direction.

Last up is the Metasonics TX-1
"It Sucks" as their website proclaims.
they are touting it as a brutal vacuum tube distortion/waveshaper
unfortunatly we didn't get a pic, but on the front panel there are pictures of donminatrixes tourturing fuzzy little animals. Currently there are two sound samples at www. metasonix.com

There you have it. breif I know,
Look for more in depth GEAR articles about these and many other products in the near future.
