Fine Swiss Cheese was formed in the late spring of ' 99 by a bassist simply known as "Bleu". The name "FineSwissCheese" was something that defined the whole concept of it's musical "being". Everything from old school funk and disco of the 70's, to the dance age of the 80's, to the alternative rock and hip hop of the 90's. It blends all the flavors to create a powerful high energy edgy core funk rock sound with smooth tones that can only be described as a great topping to a phat sandwich !! That's FineSwissCheese baby !!

On guitar, we've got a fire hot player named "Javier", a great guitarist / songwriter / backing vocalist from south Florida who migrated to Hampton roadsÊseven years ago on a quest for change and musical fulfilness.With rich deep crunching tones to smooth as silk melodies, his versatility is unmatched. He creates a big sound and is all about the big fun !!
On lead vocals we have "J. T." also from Hampton Va., who is described by the ladies as simply "chocolate"!! ÊA true veteran of the game, J.T."wows" his audience with his electrifying presence. Again, with true versatility, he can leave ya wondering if the original artist is on stage. From the stage to the table tops, he really breaks off the energy !!
On drums we have Dave Lockett.
And there's "Bleu", a second generation bassist., who has nothin but love for this game and the players around him. AfterÊtouring the country for nearly a decade Bleu settled down in his hometown of Hampton Virginia and sought musicians that had the same idea of what he felt music was all about to him FUN ! After a long process of weeding out the "rock stars" and "the big heads" he found some cats that were truly about their game. A cold "road dog", he's logged up hundreds of thousands of miles to finally find what he's been searchin for, the very guys he's privileged to share the stage with right now . And when it comes to layin it down he's brings the thunda.!!
